We decided not to do dynasty rankings for kickers because most people are not going to keep a kicker in their dynasty leagues, and even if you are allowed to keep all your players, kickers can play until they are 40 and are easy to find.

1.    David Akers (Philadelphia Eagles) – Consistently one of the highest-scoring kickers in the NFL. He led all kickers in points scored in 2009.

2.    Nate Kaeding (San Diego Chargers) – Thank goodness the NFL playoffs do not count for fantasy.

3.    Stephen Gostkowski (New England Patriots) – Solid kicker on a dependable offense.

4.    Garrett Hartley (New Orleans Saints) – Hopefully, he learns from his four-game suspension in 2009. He is on the most explosive offense in the NFL but cannot score if he is not on the field.

5.    Mason Crosby (Green Bay Packers) – He is on a great offense, but he needs to be more consistent or he could be replaced.

6.    Robert Bironas (Tennessee Titans) – He plays for a team that can move the ball but often has to settle for field goals.

7.    Ryan Longwell (Minnesota Vikings) – Having QB Brett Favre will keep his ranking elevated, but this guy seems to be a top scorer every year, regardless of his quarterback.

8. Joe Nedney (San Francisco 49ers) – With the addition of Rutgers rookie T Anthony Davis and Idaho rookie G Mike Iupati, the 49ers offense should be more consistent, which means more points for Nedney, both in terms of extra points and field goals.

9.    Robbie Gould (Chicago Bears) – If QB Jay Cutler can cut down on red-zone turnovers, Gould might have more chances to kick.

10. Billy Cundiff (Baltimore Ravens) – I had New York Jets K Nick Folk in this spot in my prior rankings, but both are inconsistent kickers and Cundiff plays on the much stronger offense.
