- Drew Brees (New Orleans Saints) – Over the last five games the Atlanta Falcons have allowed the second most fantasy points to quarterbacks. Expect another big week from Drew Brees, who continues to make a strong case for NFL's MVP.
- Aaron Rodgers (Green Bay Packers) – Rodgers is playing as well as any quarterback in the NFL and the Bears are just 20th the last five weeks against fantasy quarterbacks. Unless there is a 50-mile an hour wind coming off Lake Michigan, expect Rodgers to have a big day.
- Kurt Warner (Arizona Cardinals) – He probably played his best game of the season last week, especially when you consider the quality of the Minnesota Vikings defense. He now goes up against the 49ers and their 17th ranked fantasy quarterback defense over the last five weeks. I expect another big game.
- Matt Schaub (Houston Texans) – No defense has been friendlier to fantasy quarterbacks than Seattle over the last five weeks; expect Schuab to have a big day in Houston against the Hawks.
- Ben Roethlisberger (Pittsburgh Steelers) – He has a great matchup against the Cleveland Browns and their 24th ranked fantasy quarterback defense over the last five weeks. He looked fine against the Oakland Raiders and he should play well again.
- Peyton Manning (Indianapolis Colts) - The Broncos are the second toughest defense against fantasy quarterbacks over the last five weeks, but I expect Indianapolis to play hard against a potential playoff team. It is still too early to sit all the starters.
- Tom Brady (New England Patriots) – Brady has not been very impressive the last two weeks and this week he goes against a Carolina defense that has been the seventh best fantasy quarterback defense over the last five weeks and ranks fifth in passing yards allowed and fifth in interceptions. You cannot sit Brady, but he does not have a great matchup this week.
- Tony Romo (Dallas Cowboys) – You cannot feel good about Cleveland Browns QB Brady Quinn having 271 yards passing and three touchdowns against the San Diego Chargers. Romo will have the opportunity to put up more big numbers this week against the Chargers.
- Brett Favre (Minnesota Vikings) – The Bengals have allowed the fewest fantasy points to quarterbacks over the last five weeks, but they have not played an offense like Minnesota. Do not expect a huge game like the one he had against the Bears, but Favre should still shine at home against the Bengals and their 20th ranked pass yardage defense.
- Philip Rivers (San Diego Chargers) – The Dallas Cowboys just gave up 241 yards and two touchdown passes to a struggling Eli Manning, Rivers is on fire right now and he should be able to put up numbers on the Cowboys who are 13th against the pass and have recorded only eight interceptions.
- Donovan McNabb (Philadelphia Eagles) – The Giants still played terrible defense against the pass on Sunday, giving Tony Romo 392 yards passing and three touchdown passes. Expect McNabb to have a big week as well.
- Joe Flacco (Baltimore Ravens) – He was terrible on Monday Night with just 137 yards passing one touchdown and three picks, but he plays the worst fantasy defense in football at home when the Ravens host the Detroit Lions. If he is going to have a big week, this is the one.
- Eli Manning (New York Giants) – He played a good game against the Eagles, but had only 222 yards, one touchdown and two picks in the earlier meeting. He has really struggled against the Eagles in recent meetings; he is not a very strong option this week.
- Alex Smith (San Francisco 49ers) – Even in defeat Favre had 275 yards and two touchdowns against the Arizona Cardinals defense. Smith is starting to play well and is worth a flyer against a Cardinals defense that ranks 30th in passing yards allowed. Do not be scared off by the dominating performance the Cardinals put on the Vikings last week.
- Jason Campbell (Washington Redskins) – He is quietly turning around his season. Since Sherman Lewis took over the play calling, Campbell has become more comfortable each week. In his last three games, he has been over 200 yards and has five touchdown passes and five picks. He is worth a look against the Oakland Raiders who are 18th against fantasy quarterbacks over the last five weeks.
- Carson Palmer (Cincinnati Bengals) – Even against the terrible Lions defense he had only 29 pass attempts, 220 passing yards, one touchdown and two picks. He just does not throw the ball enough to be a strong top five fantasy option like he was in 2005 and 2006.
- Matt Hasselbeck (Seattle Seahawks) – He finally was fantasy viable with 198 yards passing and two touchdowns and he could have another big week against a Houston defense that is 22nd in fantasy quarterback defense over the last five weeks.
- David Garrard (Jacksonville Jaguars) – They draw a Miami defense that is 25th against fantasy quarterbacks over the last five weeks; he should have a solid game this week.
- Brady Quinn (Cleveland Browns) – The way the Pittsburgh Steelers are playing defense and with Quinn having seven touchdown passes and no interceptions in his last three games, you have to consider Quinn as a sleeper against a Steelers defense that is 23rd against the quarterback over the last three weeks.
- Chad Henne (Miami Dolphins) – The Jacksonville Jaguars are 5-1 at home, but they are also only 14th against he pass in the last five weeks and 23rd in passing yards this year. Seeing Henne is coming off a 335-passing yards performance, he could be a fill in if your team has an injury situation.
